Connect with others who share your concern and your determination to work for a better future. Gain hope and the power you need to make a difference here in our world.

A discussion with filmmakers and others associated with the films follows each screening. Community organizations will share opportunities for advancing positive solutions before the screening.
Registration is required for individual films.

February 8, doors open at 12:15 to connect with community organizations. Film screening at 12:45 with discussion following.
All other dates, doors open at 2:30 pm to connect with community organizations. Film screening at 3 with discussion following.
Parking is available on the street and, on weekdays after 5 pm and all day on weekends, at Legacy Health Systems at 1919 NW Lovejoy. Park in any spots except 1-10.

Emmy-nominated Other Side of the Hill explores the impacts of a changing climate in rural Eastern Oregon as seen through the eyes of local leaders on the ground. From innovative timber operations in Wallowa County to large-scale solar in Lakeview, we amplify the voices of rural communities often left unheard. Directed by James Parker.
After-film panel discussion and Q&A with: Deb Evan, Producer; Ron Shaaf, Producer; Ella Weidner, Executive Director of Lake County Solar Development; and Nils Christopherson, Executive Director of Wallowa Resources.
