Havurah Shalom

Join us to learn Israeli dancing! We’ll teach the steps and tell the stories behind Israeli dances while you enjoy the catchy rhythms, creative body movements, and spending time with friends.

Havurah members Cindy Merrill and Gail Schwartz with dance instructor Rhona Feldman will introduce you to the joy of Israeli dancing! All ages and levels are welcome; anyone under 14 years old must be accompanied by an adult.

Attending all 3 classes is highly recommended.

This activity is being offered as part of Havurah Shalom’s celebration of the Hebrew month of Elul! As Elul precedes Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur, we use this time for study, reflection, and mental and spiritual preparation and inspiration. All are invited to attend our gatherings, which span spiritual, text-based, political, ecological and creative topics. We hope you will find them enriching, fun, moving, and worthwhile.
