Welcome to Havurah Shalom!
Havurah Shalom is a vibrant, diverse, participatory Jewish community steeped in spirituality, learning, and acts of social responsibility. We welcome people of all ages, identities, abilities, and backgrounds. As a part of the Reconstructing Judaism movement, we envision a just and compassionate world where creative Jewish living and learning guide us toward lives of holiness, meaning, and purpose.
We are excited to begin meeting in person again! Please follow these safety requirements when in our building. You can read our current Covid guidelines here.
Our me
mbers work together to promote Jewish spirituality, learning, and social action. We invite you to join us for Shabbat services, holiday celebrations, and educational opportunities.
Havurah Shalom is an LGBT Safe Zone and a member of the Community of Welcoming Congregations. We also support racial justice by recognizing systemic racism and promoting values, conversations, groups, and efforts that fight it directly.

We are excited to bring mahjong back to Havurah. It is a fun, social activity that builds community, encouraging new friendships and cementing old ones. And while some of us may play elsewhere as well, we all agreed that restoring its place as an ongoing congregational activity will be a good fit for Havurah and those of us who play or want to learn the game. So please don't hesitate to join us! -
