This project will be at Hazelnut Grove, a self-governed tiny house village. We will build planter boxes for the community and assist with any other work the residents of Hazelnut Grove ask us to help with. Don’t worry if you don’t know how to use tools to build stuff – our staff will teach you.

Youths being called to the Torah this year will build community and ask, “What does being Jewish and becoming bar, bat, or b’nei mitzvah mean to me?” Led by Rabbi Benjamin.

Explore Sephardic music through lecture, recordings, and live music. Participants will have the opportunity to learn and sing songs, but no singing ability is required. Led by Eric Stern.

A Hebrew course for beginners, including those who have "begun" before. Focusing on basic Hebrew reading/decoding, we uncover bits of Judaism that are only accessible through its original language.

This program gives children a foundation for lifelong Jewish learning and engagement while integrating parents and children in a caring Jewish community.

Many people have expressed that the war in Israel/Palestine has brought up questions and challenges around parenting in Jewish families, around being a Jew (or in a Jewish family) in the world, in their workplace, in Portland… And, of course, there is this upcoming election!
