We gather to find some moments of quiet and shalom. Led by Rabbi Benjamin, Adela Basayne, Deborah Eisenbach-Budner, Nancy Becker, or Ria de Neeve. The Havurah Book Group is a venue for discussion of complex, controversial issues. We encourage members to engage one another through sharing ideas and knowledge. Books chosen by the group are discussed in monthly meetings. Members come to discussions that interest them. This month’s book is They Call Me A Lioness, by Ahed Tamimi & Dena Takruri. Harriet Cooke will lead the discussion.

You, too, can learn how to chant the Torah. This beautiful, ancient system is a treat to learn, and inspiring to sing. Ken Lerner will teach you everything you need to connect with this heritage and become a proud “leyner,” or Torah chanter.

This program gives children a foundation for lifelong Jewish learning and engagement while integrating parents and children in a caring Jewish community.
