The Havurah Book Group is a venue for discussion of complex, controversial issues. We encourage members to engage one another through sharing ideas and knowledge. Books chosen by the group are discussed in monthly meetings. Members come to discussions that interest them. This month’s book is Being Jewish After the Destruction of Gaza: A Reckoning, by Peter Beinart. Joel Beinin will lead the discussion.

Deborah Eisenbach-Budner and Adela Basayne, both recently certified in Spiritual Direction, will facilitate a supportive, experiential community of learners who are interested in developing or deepening their Jewish/spiritual practice.

Join Havurah members and friends for a Solidarity Kabbalat Shabbat service and potluck nosh. This is a spiritual space for community members working in solidarity with Palestinians - and for the liberation of all peoples - to come together to pray, build connections, and renew ourselves on Shabbat to continue our justice work.
