This will be the second event of the Portland Bend the Arc Moral Minyan, and we are very excited to get together with you and our wider community to spend time getting to know one another and connect about how we want to show up in the current moment of uprising and beyond.
Bend the Arc Jewish Action is a national organization working to build the power of the progressive Jewish movement in order to fight for a multi-racial democracy in which all can live, love, and thrive. As national & international protests continue, Bend the Arc Portland is standing in solidarity with Jews of Color & the Black community to end violent policing and demand justice for Black lives. At this upcoming Townhall, we want to hear from you about the work that is already happening in our community and to talk about the work that you want to do. We know that Jews have an important role in fighting for racial justice and believe it is our responsibility to pursue justice and work towards Tikkun Olam. We know there is so much passion in our community, and as the Portland Moral Minyan, we want to build bridges within the Jewish community of Portland to stoke that fire.
