Havurah Shalom

Youths being called to the Torah this year will be building community together. Topics will include what Jewish tradition has to say about belief, identity and how we live our lives, as we each consider “What does being Jewish and becoming bar, bat or b'nei mitzvah mean to me?” With Rabbi Benjamin.

We'll meet in person at Irving Park for our first session if everyone is comfortable, then meet on Zoom Oct. 7, 21 and 28. If Irving Park doesn't work out, we'll meet on Zoom Oct. 14 instead. Look for a quick survey two weeks ahead of time. Our normal Zoom sessions will have two groups each meeting for 45 minutes, with a 15-minute overlap in the middle. October dates are for youth, November date for parents and youth.
