10:00 AM - 12:00 PMSocial Hall and SanctuaryHavurah will host the first ever Havurah Climate Information & Action Fair. Come to learn how we are impacting our environment and our health, and how we can easily make a difference to help reduce the worst aspects of climate chaos that will also make our communities healthier and our homes more comfortable.
Havurah is bringing experts and service providers from local agencies and organizations to present information about a range of actions and activities that we can participate in to improve our lives and that of future generations here in the Pacific Northwest.

Tuesday, Nov 11th (All day)
The art panels and hardware for the Havurah gate will be installed. Visitors may enter and exit as normal while this work is taking place (8 am – 5 pm). When it’s done, the exit device will be set in the open position, meaning the gate will close but not lock in the closed position. Anyone visiting the building after 5 pm may open and close the gate to access the main entrance through the courtyard. Signage will be in place to help you. Questions? After today's work on the gate, the doors will be left overnight set in an open position, able to close but not lock. Visitors should feel free to open and close the doors as needed to access the main entrance of the building. Tomorrow, the key code for the gate will be set and members will need to use it to enter the courtyard and access the building. Questions? Please email rachel@havurahshalom.org. -

November 12, 7:15 – 8: 30 pm - Identity Construction Zone - Being Jewish/Being a Teenager What are our questions, our strengths, and our gaps in parenting as our youth are, of course, in prime time for exploring/challenging/confronting different parts of their identities? We will focus on where being Jewish fits in for our teens and how to support them in a time in which being Jewish is very complicated. -
