HEALING the HEART, SOOTHING the SOUL, A Six-Week Grief Process Support Group facilitated by Chaplain Candi Wuhrman 

Open to all experiencing grief or facing any type of loss—a person by death, loss of a relationship, changes in a relationship, a career, aging, or your health. These are some of our tangible losses.

Intangible losses can be of connection, love, safety, security, or trust. These are just a few. Your experience may encompass a combination of many, accompanied by a mixture of emotions.

During the month of Elul, we are guided to examine our souls, explore our relationships, reflect on our actions with God and others, and prepare ourselves spiritually to begin a new year. With the Spirit of Elul, we will journey into exploring the aspects of grief.

Grief is unique to each of us depending on our stage of life, the state of our relationships, our belief systems, our family of origin, our views about what should or shouldn't happen, our internal systems, our ability to embrace the energy and emotions of our experiences… and so much more. Each of our experiences and relationships may be different but our emotions are often the same.

As we come together, we acknowledge our loss, name our grief, witness our beautiful human emotions, share stories, explore relationships, attune to the heart, connect with ourselves, Divine Presence, and others, and find strength.
