Saturday, June 28 is Climate Change Shabbat Morning 

Led by community members, this service includes davening, Torah reading, and discussion.

On Saturday, June 28, Havurah's Climate Action Team (HCAT) will host a Climate Change Shabbat Morning. 

Our service will focus on Rabbi Sheldon Lewis' 2024 book, How Precious the Ground on Which We Stand: Jewish Values That Could Save the Earth. Dr. Adriane Leveen, Bible Scholar and Climate Activist wrote, “Lewis conveys the many ways in which the Hebrew Bible celebrates the natural world as a sacred creation that we must cherish and work to preserve. His words are glorious, his vision illuminating. Reading his book fills me with joy."
