BRING SOME FOOD TO DONATE!

We'll have Lift UP barrels in the entryway this evening to collect food for those affected by the SNAP cuts and homelessness. 

Havurah's Poverty and Homelessness Committee has worked with Lift UP for a number of years. We are proud to contribute food to their wide distribution network. Here are Lift Up's "most wanted" food items:

• sugar-free canned fruits and vegetables
• low-sodium foods: soups, canned and prepared foods
• peanut butter and alternative butters
• shelf-stable dairy and non-dairy milk
• whole grain cereal and breakfast items
• whole grain pasta
• canned proteins: tuna and other meat
