(HYB) Reparations Shabbat: Exploring Our Relationships with Indigenous Peoples

Reconstructing Judaism, has prioritized “fighting for racial justice as a natural extension of our Jewish values.” This year they are encouraging congregations to sponsor a Reparations Shabbat. The focus of our Shabbat service (including a drash and mini drashot) will be hearing Havurah members describing their individual journeys of reckoning with their relationships with Indigenous Peoples. Lunch will follow.
RSVP/Register below. Please be sure to RSVP by Tuesday, January 28 if you plan on attending lunch and/or using our free childcare.
We request that you include the following in your registration notes: Number of people attending, dietary needs, and if you'd like to use our free child care (please include the number and ages of kids).
