Havurah Shalom

From David Dropkin: On the Shabbat morning of June 15, after our nationwide Torah Study, I will be leading the Shabbat morning service at Havurah. I have asked to lead the whole service that Shabbat morning as I want to bring to the community what I have learned about the overall structure of the Shabbat morning service, including how each of the parts are connected to each other, with the goal of bringing us closer to connecting with the divine in ourselves and in our community. I encourage you to join me on this journey through the morning service. I hope that those in attendance will bring with them their inquisitiveness and questions regarding the Shabbat morning service. I do not have the answers, but I am open to having discussions about topics that the morning service brings up. We will talk together, we will sing, we will make joyous noise, we may even dance. I can say for sure that you will be encouraged to do more than sit, unless that is what works for you. Please join me for what should be a wonderful Shabbat experience.
