Produced over two years by Gesher and 23 Havurah members in all, this 12-minute video features music, still pictures of Havurah being Havurah, a voice-over narrative about our congregation, and video interviews with 12 wonderful members and 1 vivid, passionate rabbi—telling Havurah’s story of community (kehillah), spiritual practice (tefillah), education (limud), and social action (tikkun olam).

Elul Tov!

This activity is being offered as part of Havurah Shalom’s celebration of the Hebrew month of Elul! As Elul precedes Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur, we use this time for study, reflection, and mental and spiritual preparation and inspiration. All are invited to attend our gatherings, which span spiritual, text-based, political, ecological and creative topics. We hope you will find them enriching, fun, moving, and worthwhile.
