This class explores how Jewish practice takes shape in our lives and communities, with particular attention to the Reconstructionist movement’s understanding of Judaism as an evolving religious civilization. Through shared text study, conversation, and creative engagement, participants will examine how ritual, meaning, and responsibility emerge within practices that are both inherited and reimagined. The class is designed for learners who already have some familiarity with Jewish life and are looking for space to think more intentionally about how Jewish practice shows up in their lives.
Led by Rabbinic Intern Noah Lind.
All are welcome. Please RSVP below.
Building Entry for Lifelong Learning Activities
For security reasons, the building always remains locked. It is the responsibility of member participants to bring the door code and use it to come inside. Since the code cannot be transmitted by email, please contact one of our staff if you don't have it yet: Rachel Pollak (503-248-4662, ext. 2) or Tara Anderson (ext. 4).
If you are not a member of Havurah, we hope you will join us for this class, but we cannot share the code with you. Your instructor will email you with instructions for entering the building a week or two before the class begins.
We also want to encourage everyone to arrive on time, particularly those who do not have a code. This will minimize disruptions for students and teachers.
