For all ages! As a group, we’ll creatively retell the story of Queen Esther, dramatically and with live music! A secret theme, known only to the players, will be unveiled when we perform the Purim spiel on March 13.  No matter what your experience in theater, all are welcome! This class has just been rescheduled for a new day and time to include more KIDS, following Shabbat School in the sanctuary with PIZZA! Parents and other family welcome too. Led by Karen Polinsky.

Questions? Contact Karen Polinsky (your member login is required to access the directory). Happily, as of Feb. 24, the whole show is cast.

Havurahnik Karen Polinsky is a Portland writer and director, on the leadership team of PDX Playwrights. She has published a regional historical mystery called Dungeness (Bedazzled Ink, 2017). This April her first non-fiction account debuts: Ian's Ride, A Long Distance Journey to Joy (Mountaineers, 2025), the story of Ian Mackay, an endurance athlete, advocate for trails, and quadriplegic from the Olympic Peninsula. You can also catch her new play Regret: A Gothic Tragicom on April 10 & 13 at Chapel Theater in Milwaukie, part of Portland's Fertile Ground Festival.
