Rosh Hashanah Family Service

Saturday, September 19, 2020 1 Tishrei 5781

10:00 AM - 10:40 AM

Especially for families with children ages 0-10! This upbeat and participatory Rosh Hashanah service is for the whole family! Enjoy stories and skits, soulful prayers, and contemporary songs–as we all begin the year anew, together.

Please have an UNCUT apple, knife and bowl of honey on hand.

Also, there will be a moment for each family to share hopes for the New Year on screen at the same time. If you would like, please take some time with your family to make a simple poster:

1. Consider hopes that each of you have for the New Year–for yourselves, for the family, for the world…

2. Take a sheet of paper at least 8.5 x 11 (or larger) and write or draw a few words or pictures representing one of those hopes. Use whatever supplies you have on hand: markers, colored paper, crayons, glue on flowers, leaves, scraps of fabric…. Have this paper at hand when the service begins!
