This first part of a two-session conversation will focus on whether the two-state solution paradigm is viable or whether other alternatives need to be examined. We will use, as a basis for our discussion, the new book by Professor Ian Lustick, Paradigm Lost: From Two-State Solution to One-State Reality. You do not have to read the book in order to join the discussion. But we ask that you listen to an interview with Prof. Lustick and/or read an earlier article from the New York Times which summarizes his perspective (the audio on the interview is soft so you may prefer to use headphones to listen). We will begin with a summary of Prof. Lustick’s arguments and then open an informal general discussion.
