Tikkun Olam Discussion

Monday, September 28, 2020 10 Tishrei 5781

1:20 PM - 2:20 PM

Join Tikkun Olam during the Yom Kippur service break for a participatory discussion: Mount Sinai 2020: Visions Beyond Our Poverty, Climate, Racial and Economic Crises in the Post-COVID World, and How to Get There. The session will include an overview and interactive breakout sessions. In the first breakout group, we'll read short passages from Torah and Talmud, then listen and share as we identify the interconnections between our global challenges. In the second breakout group, we'll identify and discuss current actions to lead us to a future of tikkun. Please bring your ideas and actions. We will compile the list and share through Havurah online publications following the High Holidays. Organized by Karen Erde, Gloria Halper, Jenn Louis, Harriet Cooke and Megan Koler.

This event will take place on our High Holidays platform, a separate web portal that can also be accessed via an app. Registration is free for all. We look forward to seeing you!
