Havurah Shalom

The Havurah Shalom Climate Action Team (HCAT) is looking forward to starting up our HCAT Book Group again. (The last book we read was How Precious the Ground on Which We Stand, by Rabbi Sheldon Lewis.)

For whatever book we choose next, we will meet monthly to discuss the book chapter by chapter or in similarly small chunks. Our aim will be to gain deeper insights throughout our reading, rather than just in one final discussion.

Havurah members, are you interested in joining this HCAT Book Group?

We are open to all Havurah members. You don’t have to be on the HCAT committee to participate in the HCAT book group. The HCAT book group typically meets on the third Monday of the month by Zoom; however, we are flexible around holidays etc.

We may even venture to meet in person if folks wish. You can help us pick the book too. Please email Karen Boyer (log in to your Havurah Shalom account to access the member directory) to see our list of possible future reads.

And if you have a book to suggest, just send Karen Boyer the title (and, if you have it, the author’s name, book edition, etc.).
