Ways to Contribute and Connect

Havurah members learn what’s going on in our community via the monthly newsletter, Hakol, and the weekly email, Hineinu. Below we list the committees and groups that make Havurah Shalom a vibrant community. You can choose to be contacted by a committee member to find out more about the mission and activities of that committee. Or you can sign up to receive occasional emails related to a wide range of volunteer opportunities, affinity groups, or occasional events.

Committee Descriptions
Many members who filled out our community Survey in 2021 indicated that they would be more likely to join a committee if someone reached out to them. Here is your opportunity to let us know what areas interest you and we will ask committee members to be in touch to share information specific to the committee. All committees welcome interested members to join in their regular meetings and participate in planning and activities.

Dedicated Lists Run by Havurah Groups
The following groups manage their own email lists for discussion, volunteer opportunities, planning and announcements. Some will have occasional announcements, while others will have more robust content that will give you a great sense of what’s happening at Havurah.
