Join the Makom (Place) Cluster in building a beautiful sukkah in the courtyard at Havurah! All the materials are ready for us to construct a fabulous wooden structure that will soon be decorated and full of song. (Contact Rachel Pollak for questions--rachel@havurahshalom.org.)

We’ll begin at noon with a vegetarian (and kosher fish) potluck lunch, followed by a musical Tashlich service and walk to the river. (Last names A-J bring main dishes, K-Z bring salads, appetizers, fruit and drinks.) Dessert will be provided by Havurah back at the tables after the Tashlich ritual.

Sunday, Oct. 6 at 1:00 pm is our traditional High Holidays gathering at our beautiful Cemetery. It's a chance to get together and reminisce about those no longer with us. It's a wonderful annual event, and it would be great if you would join us.

Evening services as the gates of prayer begin to close, leading us into Yom Kippur.

Spend the day with us in prayer, meditation and contemplation for Yom Kippur. All of Havurah Shalom's High Holiday services are open to all, no tickets needed.

Our Yom Kippur Family Service helps people of all ages focus on our yearly tradition of celebration and renewal. Enjoy favorite songs and prayers, the Jonah story, and family interaction. RSVP via the calendar event page.
