Do you love to sing and are looking for a fun way to spend a Sunday afternoon? Come join this one time musical workshop, exploring songs from my new musical Freedom – the Untold Story of Moses. This special afternoon gathering will focus on exploring the songs, piloting the harmonies, and spending time hearing a brand new piece of art. The music ranges from rock ‘n roll to blues, lots of opportunities for singers of any range! And if you love what you hear, you can join us for an extended workshop series January – March 2020. A walk through the Shabbat morning service, focusing on the prayers we generally sing at Havurah. We will learn melodies and engage with the meaning and resonance of each prayer and of the service as a whole. These three sessions build on each other, but students are welcome to come to any or all. Taught by Rabbi Benjamin. Wednesdays, Oct. 30; Jan. 8, 15. Join our Community Minyan in celebrating Shabbat. Led by community members and Rabbi Benjamin, this service includes davening, Torah reading, and discussion, as well as an opportunity to say Kaddish.
