On Erev Rosh Hashanah, we come together as a community and celebrate!
Sunday October 2, 2016 at 6:00 pm
Tiffany Center, 1410 SW Morrison, Downtown Portland
All members and their guests are welcome!
Reservation Deadline: Thursday September 22
Only 350 tickets are available, please book early!
$36 per adult, $12 per child, children under 5 are free

Fresh Herb Marinated & Roasted Fall Vegetable Medley, with Drizzle of Lemon Tarragon Vinaigrette
Assortment of Rolls and Breads with Sweet Cream Butter and Margarine
Noodle Kugel with Raisins, Apple and Cinnamon
Herb Roasted Red Potatoes
Parmesan-Crusted Oregon Rockfish (white), with White Wine, Fresh Lemon, Garden Tomato,
Capers, Black Olives and Artichoke

In the spirit of Havurah's open and welcoming community, we will have an open seating arrangement for this dinner, just like at the monthly Kabbalat Shabbat dinners.
If you are a large group/family please arrive early in order to sit together - seating is not reserved!
Please bring your own wine to enjoy with dinner.
There will be wine glasses and cork screws available.
Cost includes donation to MAZON to feed the hungry.

(This class will now be starting on January 8.) Using an in-depth, word-by-word approach, we discover literal meaning(s), ancient layers of understanding, and our own personal interpretations that stem from the nuances of the Hebrew text. Basic Hebrew decoding skills necessary. -
