7:00 PM - 8:30 PMHavurahThe Havurah Book Discussion Group meets bi-monthly to discuss books by Jewish authors on a variety of themes. Our selections are both fictional and nonfictional. Our discussions open a window into Jewish life, both contemporary and historical. Please join us for a lively and informative interchange. We will meet on the following Tuesday evenings at 7:00 pm: Sept. 20, Nov. 29, Jan. 24, March 21, May 23.
Book selections include My Promised Land: The Triumph and Tragedy of Israel by Ari Shavit (non-fiction) on Sept. 20; The Marriage of Chani Kaufman by Eve Harris (fiction) on Nov. 29; and The Lemon Tree by Sandy Tolan (non-fiction) on Jan. 24.
