Come join the six-session discussion course on climate action.  Increase your understanding about what is happening and how we can take action to increase resilience and mitigate the impacts of climate change. This course will refer to connections in Jewish texts that relate to our impact on the earth.  The discussion sessions integrate video and readings compiled by the Northwest Earth Institute’s guide “Change is Our Choice: Creating Climate Solutions” that will help us choose accessible individual and community actions to build a better tomorrow.

The planning committee includes Michael Heumann, Don Caniparoli, Jan Zuckerman and Steve Birkel.  The first session of the course will be Thursday, October 20, from 7:00 to 8:30 pm. If you are interested in participating, or want more information, contact Michael Heumann (heumanncycle@gmail.com).
