Our Political Action sub-team has been involved in vigils at the ICE Facility on Macadam and at the Washington County Courthouse. We will hear from our legal observers about the racial profiling by ICE agents at the courthouse that was captured on video. We will also begin planning for two actions: Havurah will be organizing the Last Thursday ICE vigil at the ICE office on Nov. 30. We will also begin discussing what we can do to support DACA people and work toward passage of the Dream Act of 2017.
