Diane Chaplin will lead a study and discussion of "Jewish Traditions of Mourning and the Afterlife." During the weeks following this Text & Torah session, Havurah's Ma'avar Committee will lead four sessions titled "Having the Conversation: Workshops to Discuss What Quality Means at the End of Life." (See calendar entries for Feb. 12, 16 & 26, and March 2 to learn more and register.) On Feb. 4, our Torah text study will be followed by a shortened Saturday morning service. We will serve coffee, bagels and lox, with gluten-free options. Please arrive early to eat before the study begins at 10:00 am.
