The Song Circle is based on a program designed by Joey Weisenberg and the Rising Song Institute focusing on communal songs and niggunim, wordless melodies. The group is open to all who wish to learn, share music, and grow their personal leadership techniques. We will meet in person at Havurah and on Zoom in Zoom Room Dalet.

A thorough decoding of Exodus 13:17-17:16, Song of the Sea. We continue to build vocabulary and delve into what it means to escape oppression, rejoice, receive privilege at the expense of others, and keep moving. We will refer to ancient and modern midrashim (interpretation) that stem from the nuances of the Hebrew text. Basic Hebrew decoding ability needed (even slowly). Led by Deborah Eisenbach-Budner. In this workshop, we will walk through event planning basics for both the service and reception. There are many considerations, and your event is unique to your child and family. We will breakdown the event planning process into manageable steps, with a worksheet to help you stay on track. This is great opportunity to ask questions, connect with others, and take the stress out of event planning so you can experience the joy that comes with this special occasion. Taught by Chari Smith
