"This year," she stated, "we can choose to come together to experience services in groups of our own design. This year, we can reach out to include other Havurahniks and friends in our worship, reflection and celebration. This year, we can savor the heightened kavanah (intention or purpose) that arises when we share the same space."
We hope you are able to gather with those you care for, and even if that's not possible, that you will join us online as a community for Yom Kippur services tonight and tomorrow. The schedule is at the bottom of this email, and here are directions for joining:
Find the All Events and Services link and navigate to the service
A Zoom link will be available five minutes ahead of the start time.
Here's a quick how-to video for signing in and joining a session.
Tonight's service will be in webinar form again to allow for greater attendee capacity. You may briefly find yourself in a waiting room when you join it, and when you enter, you will only be able to see the service leaders, not the other attendees. All other services will be in the more familiar format that allows us to see each other.
Looking forward to the sweet taste of davening in community. Shechechiyanu.
