After the solemnity and awe of Yom Kippur, we welcome the fullness and joy of Sukkot. Come celebrate with us!
Join us in decorating our new sukkah at 6:00 pm tomorrow, Tuesday, Oct. 3. The photos below show the sukkah and some of the decorations we'll clip to wires along the sukkah walls: lavender, greenery, fabric, paintings, blessings, posters, twinkling lights for the night, and more. Bring your own art to add if you wish!

RSVPs for tomorrow night are welcome but not required. Come for a half hour, an hour, or more! We plan to wrap things up by 8:30 pm at the latest.
Nine Tivnu gap-year students built the sukkah under the guidance of Tivnu’s construction trainer, Erik Brakstad, who designed the sukkah especially for our courtyard. Many thanks to Tivnu Executive Director Steven Eisenbach-Budner, Erik Brakstad, and the nine Tivnu participants who worked so hard in our courtyard during the past two weeks: Emma Gerowitz, Calvin Lyster, Ariana Finkelstein, Lauren Gerson, Mea Konow-Garretson, Ron Melamed, Pele Shalev, Leci Grenet, and Sasha McCoskey. You can see photos of Tivnu hard at work in this Facebook album.
Many fun activities are planned in the sukkah this year. Learn about all of them, and about our Simchat Torah celebration, here on our website.
