Havurah’s 40th Anniversary Celebration on May 19th - Just One Week Away!

Next Sunday, May 19th, we'll be celebrating Havurah's 40th Anniversary, featuring music from Two Havurah Bands!
 

• Arbaim (Hebrew for 40) will accompany our celebration with Jazz, Klezmer, and other musical selections
• 40 Years in the Dead-sert will play a set inspired by the Grateful Dead show on June 30, 1979 at Portland International Raceway, along with other hits from 40 years ago

 
Join us for wonderful Music and --
 

• Delicious food and desserts
• Shmoozing with old and new Havurah friends
• Beer, wine, cocktails and non-alcoholic beverages
• A look back at some Havurah history -- and a look forward to the next 40 years!

 
Havurah Shalom was founded in the late 1970s by a small group of families focused on creating a dynamic Jewish community.  Havurah founding members focused on strong family involvement and a participatory approach to Jewish life, much as we continue to do today.
 
Our celebration takes place next Sunday from 5:00 - 8:00 pm.  Whether you have been a member for 40 years or 40 days, we hope you will join us!
